There are psychological reasons why we can’t turn away when a car accident happens in front of us or a story of a sinking cruise ship is broadcasted on our tv. Take that and compare it against what we usually like to tell our friends when we do connect, “you wouldn’t believe what happened to me today…”. Similar, right?
